Steve is a ship owner and managing director or GT Gillie and Blair Ltd , one of the last remaining independent English ship owners, now in its 105th year ! Steve is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers & was a Commissioner at the Port of Blyth from 1992 to 2015. Steve is also Chairman of Grainco, the North of England’s and Scotland’s largest grain marketing company and he was recently appointed Latvian Honorary Consul for North East England. Steve is a keen tennis player, distance runner, downhill skier and avid supporter of Newcastle United. We are proud and lucky to have Steve as our Chairman.
Martin has been a shipbroker and project logistics manager for over 28 years . He has worked on all continents , managing projects with complex logistic challenges with multi disciplined teams. In its eighth year , Martin continues to manage Project Navigation , a private independent logistics agency , offering UK and international services in heavy lift shipping , ship brokerage & chartering , logistics project management & transport. Martin has a great love of the outdoors enjoying mountain hiking, skiing , cycling , sailing and powerboats.
Kate’s previous employment with the luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent led her to web design and digital marketing consultancy. She established her own successful company in December 2013. Kate manages websites for a number of different companies but the Project Navigation team are delighted to work closely with Kate and are extremely happy with the re-launch of the company and exciting developments ahead.
Mike has been a Chartered Certified Accountant since 1992 and with his wife Sue, owns and runs Lee, Dicketts & Co, a public accountancy practice based in Seal near Sevenoaks which employs seven people. Mike has managed the statuary financial requirements of Project Navigation since the companies foundation. Mike has a love of music , motor bikes, the great outdoors and is one of six Crystal Palace supporters.
Tracey spent the first ten years of her working life in Local Government working for both the Voluntary and Private Sector. Tracey then relocated to Ireland where she provided management and consultancy services for a number of private sector companies. On her return back to Wales she spent five years as a Practice Manager for GP surgeries prior to setting up her own business. Tracey works "virtually" in North Wales and has been since 2009. Tracey has an accomplished management career reflecting over 20 years' experience in all aspects of administration and marketing, she holds a number of qualifications including 'Prince 2'and is also a qualified NVQ Assessor. Tracey has a keen interest in motorsports and is an "Entries Secretary" for a "Sprint" event at 'Trac Môn/Anglesey Circuit', this is where she spends a lot of her spare time with her family.

Pronav was established in 1993 serving clients with international shipping & transport requirements for heavy & abnormal loads.
We work globally and in the UK project markets and have an established track record of shipping heavy and abnormal loads including break bulk and heavy lift cargo requiring detailed engineering management
We also work within the commercial maritime industry organising the transport of yachts, super yachts & other marine craft including barges and dredgers, offshore supply for the oil and gas industry and wind farm boats.
In addition to agency and brokerage services we offer project management within the project logistics field.
